What Luis Rojas doesn't like about El Pirrin:
Our waiter was great prompt and nice , food was great ,but ; I ask another waiter that went by for another cup of cilantro and look to our plates , look at me and then say ok ..... Our waiter came by and ask if we ok . We said yes since we already ask for a cilantro cup .. finish our plates and cilantro never made it !!! And this is the reason why I only give you 3 stars . This restaurant serves delicious comfort food. The Nopales con Huevos dish is especially flavorful, with cactus, egg, onion, and tomato. I like to order it with rice and beans and make a little burrito - it's amazing. My boyfriend loves the Menudo dish, and they also serve it with onion, lime, chili, and oregano. We love this place.
The Chicharon taco and Morisqueta are delicious and perfectly seasoned! I also highly recommend trying their Menudo.
Nopales con Huevos is amazing! Flavorful, generous portion, great in flour tortillas. Menudo is the best around, and you can leave out the feet (pata). We love this place.
The Menudo was tasty and filled with meat. All the elements were well-balanced with just the right amount of seasoning, lemon, and onions. I highly recommend it!
Menudo and Posole were spot on with flavor. The only downside was that although we made a special request in Spanish to put the rice and beans on the side of our Breakfast Burrito they were inside. The burrito itself was tasty. All in all two thumbs up!
