Bún Bò Huế An Nam - San Jose

The food was fantastic, primarily focused on soups. However, we were seated near the door, and since it was a chilly evening, it left my party feeling quite cold. Everyone enjoyed their soup, including the kids, and the portions of meat in the soup were generous. The broth was excellent. The only significant drawback is that they only accept cash or debit, which isn't a dealbreaker but can be inconvenient; fortunately, I happened to have my card with me.

This might be the best beef brisket noodle soup (BBH) in the Bay Area. They offer BBH in three different styles, along with a third option: beef pho. Whenever I'm in the South Bay, I make sure to stop by for a meal here.

Another great recommendation from a friend. There are so many Vietnamese places to eat out here that I feel like you can't go wrong. The BBH here is better than most of the places back home for me. The flavor of the broth is great, and the quantity is also generous (maybe twice as much as what I'm used to). I also ordered a side of meat, not knowing how much protein was in the bowl. They have some fresh chili that you can add to make it spicier. One thing to remember that they only take cash or debit card (no credit cards).
