Banh Xeo Ngon - San Jose

I ordered the banh xeo with mushroom, shrimp, and tofu. It was a nice-sized serving. Was disappointed that the mushroom, shrimp, and tofu were completely unseasoned, but overall the dish was still good since there was fish sauce to dip the banh xeo in. Banh khot is untraditionally made with thick flour and a coconut flavor. Still tasty though! When sitting outside, expect to be propositioned to buy fruit from street vendors.

It was good and the banh xeo is big but there is not that much filling.

Came here to have some banh xeo. Left full and satisfied. The banh Xeo is crispy and cooked just right. The service is a bit confusing if you aren't use to it. You seat yourself and a waiter will eventually drop off a menu. Once done, you go up tk the counter to pay by referencing your table number. If you dined in and order take out as well, the wait staff will not inform you that your take out order is done until they are annoyed with you. There was a confusion with one of our orders only to be reprimanded by the wait staff.

Nice fried rice and really good vermicelli! Their house special fried rice is pretty good! However it's questionable why they charge for water during COVID or maybe they done this all the time.. at least you can tell us in advance.. at least you can take it out with you too...
