they have me with their fat food! the yellow **** collar was so delicious, but also so fat (in good wise for me.) I noticed there were 3 cloves not 2 in the fried tempura. the sashimi fish tasted very fresh in comparison to other sushi places. What Joyan C doesn't like about Shinju Sushi:
The fusion rolls here are really bad, like pretty much what you'd get when you buy supermarket sushi. The spider crab roll and eel roll pretty much tasted the same, cold, nothing special, covered in that thick salty soy sauce that masks any flavor. I have visited this restaurant on several Sunday evenings and it has always been quiet, but I have received excellent service every time. The sushi rolls are made quickly and are fresh. The spicy garlic edamame is delicious. I enjoy coming here for a quick sushi fix.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and had an amazing experience. Let's start with the customer service - the staff member who greeted us at the door was excellent and very attentive throughout our meal. I also had a wonderful experience trying Sake for the first time, it was delicious! The prices were reasonable and the food was top-notch. I highly recommend this place!
I made a lengthy journey to visit this restaurant only to discover that it was closed, despite their posted hours of operation.
Great quality sushi at a reasonable price! Highly recommend if you're in the San Gabriel Valley.
Great service to start off with. Then food is good, not sugar fish status great but very good
