it p gud : counter service but kinda pricey. the burger was good, I liked the bun and the sauce on it. Their lumpia is hella looooong. The longest lumpia I've ever seen. Very impressive, very delicious. they gave me more lumpia than i asked for bc they're nice :D View all feedback.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the neighborhood! The Jefe burger was incredibly delicious, with the bacon and angus beef complementing each other perfectly. And the price was surprisingly affordable. Definitely a must-try!
I've worked in the city now for 12 years as a delivery driver and now a garbage man so I've been around all over SF and I can really say that this is the best burger joint in the Richmond and maybe all SF!
The BOMB all the way around. Great food great atmosphere. Everybody should go check it out!
Destination burger. No matter how far you are, go there.
Prices have leapt up all across the menu $3 to the burgers and onion rings). The onion rings here are still great, but my recent visit has me questioning the value and cleanliness. In my original review, I praised their service and great onion rings. Their service is kind of cold now, and I saw one of the staff grabbing raw bacon with his bare hand which was probably washed, but I did pause to stare for a second. The onion rings are fried to order, which ensures they're perfectly crispy and the onion inside snaps when you bite into them, instead of slipping out of the batter. Also, I got the OG burger with American cheese. It's comparable to a Whopper from Burger King. The patty was slightly crisped, which I liked, but also nice and juicy. However, they could have used a little less salt. Under the top bun, there was ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, then a slice of tomato implanted inside the rings of a red onion, then American cheese with the patty as the last ingredient to the bottom before the pickles adhered to the bottom bun with more mayo. The burger was done in about four minutes despite the cashier saying fifteen minutes. Also, this place used to have customers around the clock. It still gets customers but definitely isn't as busy as it used to be. This restaurant has gone downhill a little, but I'm hopeful they'll recover and still have the same quality of food I remember.
