Food was delicious and honestly was addicted to it while we were here in Frisco. The tables were always a little messy every time we came in so we just cleaned them ourselves but all good. The delicious food made up for itFood: 5/5 View all feedback.
What J W doesn't like about The Melt 1st Market, Sf:
The burger was pretty good. Had a decent char on it. The bun was fresh and soft and the cheese was plentiful and gooey. Got the bbq bacon burger. The sauce was pretty good and the onion frizzles were a good touch. Here is where it went wrong. The bacon was tragically undercooked. Seriously underdone. Like British uncooked. Tough, stringy, and chewy. Ruined the whole vibe. And the Mac n cheese was totally ordinary and... View all feedback.
Tried this place for the first time. Place was busy and obviously very popular. I ordered the double melt since I was starving. Quite frankly it was too much, which I rarely have said in my life regarding burgers. But this was way more filling than your typical double cheeseburger. When it arrived it looked amazing, so much cheese dropping off it and all around. Clearly juicy as it was already starting to pool in the tray. I thought man, this might be my new favorite. Well, while it was good, it was not nearly my favorite. For starters I thought the meat while cooked well was under-seasoned. I also thought the jalapenos that come on the burger were flavorless. I think they've tried so hard to make them not spicy that they've made them closer to a cucumber in flavor than a jalapeno. Overall it was good, but amp those things up and you have a serious contender. The fries however were outstanding! Really tasty, crispy and well seasoned. The shake was awesome as well! I'll definitely be back, and would recommend giving it a try. Though next time I'll have a single patty, definitely good and filling!
I had to wait for a while but it was worth it. If you 're going to order pickup, be ready to wait for about 10 minutes later than your ordering service says. I ordered through a service called Ritual which is one of those food ordering apps. I also saw that they accept a variety of other food ordering apps. When I walked in, I saw that there were about seven other people waiting and the employees were all scrambling to make stuff. I had to wait about five more minutes than predicted but the person in charge gave me a free drink for the wait. There was also free WiFi to help me pass the time. I ordered a three cheese classic melt, tomato soup, and cheddar bacon ranch fries. Unfortunately, I didn 't get my grilled cheese croutons with the tomato soup but received two pickles (which I did not order). I didn 't really care though because I had just gotten off the ferry and just wanted some hot food to warm me up. The three cheese classic melt was one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I 've had. It wasn 't too salty or oily or anything. Just a nice grilled cheese sandwich made with great ingredients. It tasted great dipped into the tomato soup. However, the cheddar bacon ranch fries were a bit too salty for me. I didn 't finish it. I ordered three cheese classic melt and cheddar bacon ranch fries with 'melt spice ' which is some weird green powder that makes stuff taste great. The tomato soup was also great. I was satisfied and went to use the restroom. The restroom was pretty clean but could 've been cleaner. It was on the better side of restrooms I 've been in. Overall, four stars. I had to wait but I understand why (they 're really popular) and they got my order slightly wrong, but the customer service and amenities kind of made up for it. The food was priced very well considering that it 's in downtown San Francisco. There is both indoor and outdoor dining available here.
Very convenient location and great food! I usually go here for a quick sandwich salad for when I'm on the the go. Also, every order seems to come with a complimentary pickle... can't go wrong with that!! Today I was looking for something lighter so I went with the Cobb Salad, though I wasn’t expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised by its tastiness.
Have been here consistently 1x a week or so for couple months, it's my go too lunch dinner in a fix spot and is reliably fast, neat, tasty. Great burgers. I've had good luck with salads and their tomato soup as well, get the extra croutons for it though!
Excellent place! Obviously very cheesy so not for the lactose intolerant but I loved the Sicilian Chicken, the Mac and cheese, and the three cheese classic. Also very good value for the price, it’s pretty cheap.
