Keep in mind that there is no indoor or outdoor seating here! But no worries, take the food to eat in your car in the parking lot or take it back home. I was really surprised at how much I liked the poke bowl here! It is a bit pricey for the small vs large. Crab also isn't included for free and counts as a protein. I wish it was including for free as a topping like many other poke shops do. Although there were quite... View all feedback.
What Sean M doesn't like about Poke Kana:
The meal was fresh and the portions were generous. However, they missed my avocado add-on even though I was charged for it.Two people in my party also had their orders made incorrectly. They also drop a bowl 's lis on the ground, and continue to use it for a customer after it made contact on the ground. When we called her out on it, she said oh I didn 't notice View all feedback.
Great food, good service. Nice size bowls, good bang for the buck. I always go there.
I was disappointed in the service today. The food was okay and when my boyfriend and I walked in, we were ignored for five or more minutes. The employee did not even look up or acknowledge our presence. It seemed like she was making a bowl for an online order. What would have made it better is a simple Hi, I 'll be with you guys in a minute. Even when we had our order taken, she just took the sheet from us and told us our total. We weren 't even greeted. I noticed the scoops for fish/protein got smaller (my bowl was mostly rice) and she put fried garlic instead of the fried onions we asked for as a topping. The amount of each topping in the bowl were small and even the amount of poke sauce in the bowl didn 't seem like a lot. The tuna my boyfriend ordered didn 't taste or look fresh, it had a dull color and odd texture. My craving for good poke was not satisfied and unfortunately, I don 't think I 'll be coming back here.
I didn't like it. I'm giving three stars because I was able to finish half the bowl. I think if it fits your tastes, it'll be good. My partner thought his bowl was fine.

The food servings are generous and tasted fresh. Service was simple and the server was not friendly but did her job. She didn't seem like she wanted to be there but still answered questions. You fill out these sheets with your order by selecting options in each category with a marker. Then you pay and the server puts the bowl order together. There was only one person ahead of us, so we ordered and got our food in about 10 minutes. We were hungry after a 2 mile run, and the regular bowl was plenty and satisfying for me. I liked the Hawaiian sauce with salmon, spicy tuna, rice, and the toppings. I'd avoid the crispy onion though. It didn't add anything to the flavor and felt more like annoying confetti.. it was also chewy so that was annoying. But overall, great poke bowls (nothing like you'd get in Hawaii, but good enough for the mainland). We got 2 regular bowls for about $29 with no extra add-ons.The ambiance is... there is none. There are cases of drinks tucked in a corner, and no seating space. It's just a place to order and take out to eat at home or wherever. Personally, if this place didn't have good reviews on yelp, I would've skipped based on how the inside looks. It's not dirty but not that great to look at... and when raw fish is involved, I just feel like it's best to put your best foot forward and keep the space clean and tidy. Anyways, it's good poke, quick service, and the ambiance is nonexistent. The taste and price were right so will return again if I have a poke craving.
