Beware of the salad bar as there was a worm in it, and the ingredients did not seem fresh as we both saw and tasted.

I adore this restaurant. They have a cozy outdoor seating area with about 8 small tables. The salads are delicious and the service is incredibly quick.

I am not a big fan of salads, but I decided to try Mixt Greens for lunch recently. I usually avoid places like this because I prefer richer foods, but I wanted to switch things up. I ordered the orchard salad with dressing on the side and found it to be enjoyable. It's not something I would order regularly, as I prefer hot meals, but it was a nice change. The price is a little high for a salad in my opinion, especially when I could get a full meal for the same cost. The restaurant entrance has a few steps and is not accessible, but there is another entrance through the building that is wheelchair-friendly. It can get crowded during lunchtime, so be prepared to wait in line. I did not try the bathroom, so I cannot comment on that.

Solid make-your-own salad point. The distribution of $12-16 to lunch today is quite the norm in downtown SF, so not really sure why there are complaints about the price here. Long line, but it moved very fast. Total positive experience.

This place is great. Go-to for lunch, but get there earlier than later to avoid the line (there is a reason there is a line though, it's damn good). Sandwiches are all killer. Ingredients are really good. Service is great. Seasonal items are worth exploring (Gaucho one of the best salads on earth).
