I was looking for some non-roasted desserts and the owner suggested trying the double skin milk with mango. I also ordered the sweet potato and taro QQ balls with grass jelly and adzuki bean. The desserts were reasonably priced and the portions were generous. I was particularly impressed with the double skin milk, which was incredibly smooth and delicious. I definitely plan on returning to try more of their offerings... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Metro Hong Kong Dessert And Milk Tea:
The packaging for the food order was perfect and well organized. However, the egg noodles were overcooked and lacking seasoning, and the soup on the side was slightly sour. Additionally, it was not the correct type of soup for Cantonese noodle soup. Despite these issues, the food was still good, and the portions of BBQ meat were generous. View all feedback.
Its a very warm and relaxing place to eat and drink. The coconut desert Boba is a must! The customer service was great as the lady was very polite and happy to offer suggestions and offers.
The original milk tea with milk foam is delicious. I am still trying to understand their ordering system as they just opened last Saturday, so service was slow. I would definitely return.
At this restaurant, there were some beverages available on a buy two get one free deal. However, on Sundays, they changed the sign to offer a free drink or dessert with the purchase of one item. When I tried to take advantage of this promotion, the owner said it only applied to certain items, not the ones I wanted. This was disappointing as the advertisement had claimed it would be valid for all drinks and desserts. It seems they are now only offering discounts on select items, making it difficult for customers to take advantage of the deals.
I had heard about tong yuen from someone and was eager to try it. We decided to go to this restaurant, and my girlfriend ordered for us as she speaks Cantonese. The service was excellent and friendly. We were served hot tea in glass cups, which were a bit difficult to hold at first. There was a large TV playing an educational animated music show for kids. The tong yuen we ordered was delicious.
I went to this restaurant with a friend from Hong Kong who couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was! The prices were great too. We ordered the durian cake and boba, which were both cheap and delicious.
