The tamale was outstanding. They offered a Guatemalan style option that was pricier, but wrapped in a banana leaf. The tacos were delicious, but I personally felt that the handmade tortilla was too thick. View all feedback.
What Patrick S doesn't like about La Espiga De Oro:
It's a funny little Mexican restaurant/corner market/fried chicken stand. Prices are good. Service is a little slow. The food is good. I like the hot salsa. There's seating for a dozen or so people. View all feedback.
If I could give zero I would! This place is selling rotten food. SMELL your food before purchasing!!!!! The employees also have the worst attitudes. The ONLY reason I walked in because of the convenience! Never again!!!

We buy tamales to go here. I like the three kinds of Mexican tamales. They are delicious! The employees are very nice. The “atmosphere” is nice enough, you order at a window, and they bring food to you table or get it to go. The wonderful aroma of the food makes me hungry the second I enter La Espiga.
Doesn't look as appealing as other Mexican spots, but the food is authentic . Ask for la milanesa de pollo o Res and enjoy ! Big portions and family environment ! Also the prices are great for the portions !
It's best to comprehend some Spanish other than that pull out a translator if it's a complex order ... The Chicharrón is everything!!!Food: 5/5
