Good place to drink. Do not eat here if you have an appetite. Very overpriced for the amount of food given. You know they are serving appetizers but the amount on the plates are a joke. a Bread dish is brought to your table first. This is definitely needed or you will be stopping off to eat later. The tasting menu option was delicious and was great value. Good espresso martinis and Josh, our server elevated the experience. Would return again
Our waiter was very helpful and suggested many options. The food was “just ok”! Hot dishes weren't very hot. The dishes came out so quickly, it made me wonder how long the food was sitting in the kitchen before it got to our table... Too many restaurants in SF-probably would not return. Oh, the espresso martinis were served in a highball glass “with ice”. Not good!
My husband and I have made this our dinner and cocktail spot each time we watch a show at the Orpheum. While the ambience, libations and food are already fantastic, our experience has always been made stellar by Mide who has been our server most times we are there. His kind demeanor and willingness to make our experience superb is beyond words! Thank you Mide and thank you La Bande team! We will always enjoy coming here for a night out in the city.
We had a great date night here. Great tapas and ambiance. Stellar service.
