unbelievable. I work around the corner of the school and came by for a fast veggie roll. the menu outside advertises a tempoura veggie roll for 11.95 I come in to go- use apple pay- and like I stand outside my acknowledgement says 22.00 for a veggie roll! I go in and ask if it's a mistake and she says I'm sorry the menu outside in the window is 10 years old sooo rediculous and false advertising! View all feedback.
Best service!!! Great food, super fast, grey prices!!
Excellent! Albacore is the best we ever tasted. Absolutely non to loose. Open everytime
Great Service. My wife and I eat at this spot once every other week. We enjoy the sushi rolls the best. The fish is always fresh. They offer free green tea ice cream for desert. <br/ <br/ The service is the best. It is always friendly and curtious. They also handle large groups. I held my birthday celebration there.
Items Ordered: Vegetable udon, vegetable potstickers, edamame, miso soup, beer, sake bombs, and two sushi rolls. The restaurant was run on the front-end by one woman. When my party arrived, we were only the second table but as time went on, it got busier and she managed it all. My only food recommendations would be to offer tofu in the vegetable udon and salt on the edamame (or table). The place does feel very cluttered too with all of the storage along the walls but I'm not sure if that fits in with the other restaurants on the street.
I love this little cozy space. I think they should have more unique name instead of balboa teriyaki. even hello kitty teriyaki would be better. oh, wait. it 's kinda gross. nvm. it was Saturday astound 6:30. there were 2 other tables but not busy at all. at all. AT ALL. but I will put one extra 'cause those local restaurants usually put a sign says 'kids friendly ' and I hate it. but this place is as I mentioned earlier, not busy, super cozy and no kids when I was there. I ordered Hawaiian poki salad, beef icon and double hamachi roll. Hawaiian poki salad was excellent. I don 't think any traditional Japanese food come with spicy sauce but you can ask how spicy your poki salad is and I asked mild. it was just right spicy. Hawaiian poki salad is excellent there. beef udon was okay. just okay. I think they make broth, not like powder based soup. double hamachi roll was neat and decent. I believe a woman made the sushi roll. if that was the case, I kinda see how the roll made. I mean I don 't know the process but my experience, woman chefs make lookin ' good dish then man chefs. usually. just usually. my experience. the server was really friendly. light conversation. he didn 't cut in our conversation. gay. but deserve one . total is I definitely come back here. recommend.
