What Eric Schmittle likes about Grant Place:
Great restaurant! Loved the food, super authentic and the beef and peppers in black pepper sauce was amazing. The orange chicken was great too along with the dumplings. My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant late at night while walking the streets of Chinatown. Would recommend and would co.e back again and again. View all feedback. What Tara B doesn't like about Grant Place:
The dim sum at this small restaurant was good. The staff was busy but efficient, bringing out hot and prompt dishes in small streamer baskets. We tried three different shrimp dumplings, each with a unique flavor and texture. The portion sizes were perfect for dim sum. read moreNestled in the heart of Chinatown, this restaurant offers an authentic dim sum experience amidst a bustling atmosphere. With efficient service, diners are treated to a variety of flavorful shrimp dumplings, as well as other satisfying dishes like har gow, fried rice, and congee. While the food generally pleases, it's accompanied by some service hiccups and cleanliness concerns. The intimate setting attracts locals and visitors alike, providing a taste of Cantonese culture. Overall, it's a no-frills spot for quick bites, though it may not be the first choice for discerning culinary adventurers seeking a superior dining experience.

Food was good, service not so much and the place could be clean a little more. There were several small lies flying around!
It was alright. I got the lamb stew, pork buns, and string beans. Tasty but portion sizes were small and multiple hairs were found in my food

The place is small has tables outside which is good for health. My favorite place to eat dim sum and a tasty soup. Good service and prices too.
Great service, the owners are so sweet. The dim sum is awesome. Highly recommend the turnip cakes, congee, and crab dumplings.
