My partner and I had lunch at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The food was amazing! We shared the imperial rolls, which were large and delicious—definitely something we would order again. My partner had a generous bowl of bun bo hue, while I opted for the barbecue pork vermicelli bowl. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic, and the portions were so big that we even had leftovers! I just wish we lived in San Fr... View all feedback.
What Tyler “Tyy” Friedrich doesn't like about Golden Lotus:
The poor customer service here speaks volumes. For a restaurant that is supposed to provide customer service, it's outrageous that they can't manage even basic operational tasks. They create a misleading impression, and I definitely do not recommend PHO 2000. View all feedback.
Very nice staff and considerate for your order. Can barely find serve vegetable broth in the San Francisco. Not a pleasant area but have a great food
Four and a half stars. Impeccable service and friendly owner! This time around I had the chicken pho and it was such a nice choice on this cold and rainy day. The food comes out quickly and hot and delicious. My favorite is the appetizer #3. It's a delicious roll made of fun (like as in chow fun) with lettuce and pork and it's just absolute delicious. It's topped with fried onions
Placed a huge dinner order the day of for a party. They did a fantastic job wrapping everything and serving it to us in party trays. Amazing food at an affordable price. Ultimately served about 20ish people and had just the right amount of food. banh cuon thit nuong 10 ordersGoi Cuon 10 ordersCom Xao Chay 5 ordersCom Tam Suong Trung 7 ordersCom Bo Nuong 7 orders
Just north of the Tenderloin, this is a cleaner place in the area. The raw beef pho I had was very nice; both the raw beef part pho part. The father is Cantonese, mother is Vietnamese and the son only speaks Vietnamese and English.
Golden lotus has become my go to pho place in sf. Prices are decent and the pho is pretty good. The one appetizer you HAVE to get is the banh cuon thit nuong, aka rice rolls with lemongrass pork. It's soo good I could eat just this. I get the beef ball pho and my boyfriend gets the pork imperial roll vermicelli bowl. The pho noodles are thicker than normal ones, but it's still really good. The broth is really light, sometimes a little too light but it's still worth coming back to. Service is always attentive and helpful. Always ask for the chili sauce and they'll give you their homemade chili sauce which is so good with their pho.Pro tip: ask for their chili sauce. They don't keep it on the tables so you have to ask for it. It's a lemongrass chili oil kind of sauce. So good!
