The food was delicious with a good selection of fish and unique bites not typically found in a sushi restaurant. They were unable to accommodate many vegetarian substitutions for one person in our group, but the mushroom dish was large and filling, making up for it. View all feedback.
Fresh and delicious. Highly recommend trying them out. Small and cozy but they have one section for larger parties.
Feniukkusu is hands down the best sushi you can get in the city. They have two menus one with fancy fish meat flown in from Japan and the other still high quality, more affordable fish. It is NYC Omakase grade sushi but affordable!
So good! Got two tapas to share and both were excellent, highly recommend the udon noodle app. Omakase 5 pc. each quite tasty
My friends and I all LOVE Fenikkusu so much that we had a joint birthday dinner here! Even with such a big group their service, quality, and flavors did not fail to impress. Every dish was delicious and the whole table was super impressed. The best part? It’s super affordable, especially when you compare it with those sky-high prices of other sushi and omakase spots in the city. In particular, the sauteed eryngii mushrooms were a hit, and the 5-piece chef’s choice nigiri is a must-try! I wish I had more photos but all of the dishes were so good that they were polished off before I could take a picture. Shout out to the owner and chef, George, who creates such a wonderful meal and experience.
Cozy ambiance, nice but not gaudy. Good service. It’s a small operation which I like personally. And great food! Omakase was quite good (e.g. sweet blue shrimp with pine nut sauce), but the novelty of the tapas was most memorable. Squid leg karaage, fish jerky, uni and squid with shiso sauce, and miso butter mushrooms were all delicious.Fun spot. Will be back.
