Place is amazing, service is Excellent! We had fried chicken, pork chicharrones, 3 different types of skewer, (Shimp-Steak-Chicken) All Outstanding! The view is quite spectacular also! View all feedback.
What Heidi Lux doesn't like about El Techo:
The drinks were amazing, but the food only so-so. The papas sounded great but then came as whole gold potatoes, only softly fried with barely any chimichurri to speak of. Conversely, the bunuelos were so dark I thought they might be chocolate-flavored--nope, just over-fried. The chorizo was good, but skip the brisket on the huevos rancheros--it was tough. Our table was also TINY and squished right between 2 other tab... View all feedback.
I love the place the rooftop bar is absolutely amazing along with all their food. I would definitely go here again, and I probably would bring my family.
Delicious food, great rooftop location, just a star below changing your life good! great vibes!
Gauc chips are yummy, made us a margarita sans alcohol and seated us with a gorgeous view of the cityDietary restrictions: Gluten free options
Such a great place with great view, food and drinks! I think its a purfect date place. On weekends, I saw that they are very busy but it took us 20 min to wait for a table! And we just chilled with our drinks on stand up area during the wait time. The food is bomb and drinks too!! If you’re in SF, El Techo needs to be a stop!!
Great service! I went on a Friday evening between 6-8pm, and it was really crowded. Yet every we began to look around to order something, someone would immediately appear. The acoustics were really awful; it was super hard to hear the person who I was with from across the table. The plastic roof covering material was very echoey. Kind of took away from the ambiance of the decorations and the great view. Absolutely AMAZING habanero salsa!
