Good value for take out. Sandwiches and fresh bread very good. Place is small, so best to get your food to-go. Conveniently located in mid-Market. Staff very friendly and helpful. View all feedback.
What Tiffany D doesn't like about Andersen Bakery:
Wandered into this bakery on Thursday. The customer service is really good and friendly. Excelente bakery. I can said everything we tried it was delicious. We tried the fig and nut loaf bread, cheese Danish, Japanese sandwiches, and curry and meat donut balls. All excellent. Very busy bakery. The ladies are very attentive with the customers needs, although it was crazy busy .
Tried the jalapeno cheddar we see bread and it was tasty! Service was polite and prompt :
I always get the Turkey Cobb salad. It's fresh, affordable and a nice sized portion. They have a diverse array of baked goods including pastries, cookies, cakes, a nice selection of breads.
Andersen Bakery has amazing cakes and great bread, plus some of the best Clam Chowder in SF. I especially love their Japanese Milk Bread bread balls (Pain Boule) great for Bread Bowls!
Really like this newer spot. So many other sandwich places are charging $15-25 for a sandwich in SF and sometimes you just want a good 'ol turkey bacon club on sourdough that doesn 't cost so much. This place is well priced and convenient to me so I find myself going here often. I order online and it 's always ready for me to pick up by the time I walk over in between meetings.
