I LOVE The Mill. Josey Baker bakes their bread here and it is the best sourdough I have ever had. I moved from Pac Heights to New York in March and literally every time I come back to SF for work, I bring back 4 loaves of Josey Baker and freeze it at home. You can find Josey Baker elsewhere (check their website) but this is always the biggest and freshest selection. View all feedback.

I went to The Mill after seeing some super cute pics online, but the real deal was a total letdown. I ordered a chocolate croissant that came out cold, and they wouldn’t even heat it up for me??? not an option. The place was a bit of a mess too—dirty tables and seats. It was bad, customers were wiping down their own spots (I did wipe mine as well). Not exactly what you’d expect after dropping $11 on a coffee and pas... View all feedback.
5 nice concept but the ones I’ve tried haven’t been amazing. Worth trying one more time. It’s a solid coffee shop regardless
Great hipster cafe. Delicious coffees and pastries. I had the Avocado Mash open face sandwich. Really yummy. Great bread and James for sale as well.
Very stylish and pleasant cafe. I was surprised that it was impossible to warm up the bakery items, but the coffee and atmosphere are good
Had coffee there, it was very busy and not much sitting area. the coffee was great.
The staff was fulI of “ good mornings” and “hello” I got the sesame seeds loaf of bread. It was still Warm from the oven. It was devoured with an hour with amazing butter, jams and home made rubbard jelly. Best bread in the city
