Found them on Sunday at the Fort Mason farmer's market. They have a cash only sign but take cards. These are authentic fresh made delicious dumplings. The dipping sauce is a must. The vegetable dumplings were great. View all feedback.
What Moon Shine doesn't like about Happy Dumplings:
For a simple question about menu, cashier gave the dirty look, yelled something (profanity, probably) in Chinese. Dumplings were 80% dough and I had mild food poisoning after eating View all feedback.
Tried them at the Fort Mason Farmers Market. They seem to sell out quick on certain flavors, or decide per customer if a flavor is available (for example, I asked for the cabbage/pork and they said a 10 minute wait, but then the next customer asked for the same and they insisted they were just sold out).I also tried the Green Onion Pancake. Overall both were good but not the best dumplings I've had, DESPITE my being VERY impressed they were using fresh dough and stuffing them in person and cooking them. They certainly were very fresh! Biggest issue was they were very oily.

Very rude staff. For a simple question about menu, cashier gave the dirty look, yelled something (profanity, probably) in Chinese. Not even folks offered. Dumplings were mostly dough and I had mild stomachache after eating
