What User dislikes about Tidal:
The dining experience didn't quite meet my expectations; it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't remarkable. The melon was unripe and tasteless. The French toast, however, was enjoyable. The smoked salmon Benedict was decent, but the kale was tough, and the bread was difficult to cut with a butter knife. The service was somewhat slow. However, the ambiance was lovely, both inside and out. View all feedback.

Beautiful ambiance/view. Great customer service. Food was ok. Restaurant was a little bit difficult to find. Overall experience was amazing. I would recommend this place to a friend.
Our server was fantastic and truly made our experience memorable. Dining by the water was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious.
The set menu for this day was fantastic. Each item couldnât have been better. The braised short rib was cooked to perfection and the halibut was as well.
Very good, quiet and romantic restaurant. The view on the bay is great, it could have even been better if we did not have the heater next to the glass wall.
The Ciopinno was a very thin broth consistency whereas we prefer a thicker base and herb/spice wise it didnât seem seasoned enough- The tomato sauce for the the chicken parmigiana lacked depth⦠The salads were delightful and the Brussels were superb. Cocktails demonstrated skillful and masterful mixology ⦠The tiramisu was divine- topped with a special anniversary message for us- thank you Tidal! Service was on point and the view on the patio was perfection, wrapped in a magic hour sunset of lavender, pink and Orange with beach bonfires flickering nearby.
Nestled in a stunning locale, Tidal restaurant offers an enchanting dining experience complemented by breathtaking views. While the food quality varies—some dishes shine, such as the divine tiramisu and expertly crafted cocktails—others, like the thin cioppino, could use more seasoning. Service is generally attentive, though some guests noted slower moments. The lovely ambiance enhances meals, from casual brunches to romantic dinners, with highlights including a gorgeous patio and a beautiful sunset. Despite minor missteps, the overall experience leaves diners delighted, making Tidal a recommended destination for both memorable meals and picturesque moments by the bay.

Tidal is a restaurant that operates on select days, featuring a rotating menu that changes based on the day and time. The portion sizes are fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. Every dish is bursting with flavor. The staff is friendly and always ready to offer great recommendations. Outdoor seating offers beautiful views of the water, and they provide heaters at night to keep you cozy. I highly recommend it as a wonderful date spot. Brunch is definitely the highlight, but be sure not to miss Saturday nights, which are Pit Boss nights—where the brisket is so tender it falls apart at the touch of your fork.
The food was excellent, and the view was stunning! The service was very pleasant; Julia was particularly helpful and friendly. The drinks are a little on the expensive side, and it can be tricky to locate the restaurant, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely return!
Amazing dining experience! The cheeses plate was phenomenal. Coconut Thai soup was out of this world. The two together was even better. I’m not a huge fan of undercooked fish but my wife loves it and our plates were basically licked clean! Oh and I’m not a cheesecake person, but I was in heaven with the cheesecake here. We came when the sun was setting and it was the perfect way to spend the last night of my wife’s 20s. Douglass our waiter, was a big part of making our night amazing. Highly recommend if you are looking for a memorable food experience and you don’t mind spending a bit more (totally worth it).
For the main courses, my son chose halibut instead of his usual salmon, which is quite rare for him, while I opted for the beef cheeks. He nearly finished his entire halibut fillet, proclaiming that he had been converted from salmon and declaring it the best seafood he had ever tasted. As for me, the beef cheeks were undeniably the best I've ever had—extremely tender and flavorful, with a deep richness that was perfectly complemented by the pickled onions. We made sure to save room for dessert. My son selected the special of the night, a bread pudding with blueberries and banana gelato, while I went for chocolate cake topped with guava cream cheese frosting. He thoroughly enjoyed his dessert, and we both loved mine. In conclusion, Tidal restaurant truly excels. The chef deserves high praise for the menu, and the service was outstanding. Oh, and the view! We sat on the patio with an unobstructed beach-front ocean view that was unparalleled and unlike any I’ve experienced before. This restaurant deserves more than a 5-star rating and was undoubtedly one of the best experiences and meals we've ever had.
Gorgeous patio with a wonderful bay view! This is a great place to visit for breakfast or early dinner...the ambience is fantastic! Food is good I really love what I ordered...we were there for a Sunday Brunch! Was not crowded maybe the Service is not the greatest but prices are reasonable for the spectacular view...after eating you can walk around and enjoy the magnificent garden...parking is free and it's located inside the hotel

I had an excellent New Year’s Eve brunch at Tidal! The cost was $37 per person, and we enjoyed sitting on the dog-friendly patio. The brunch buffet offered a variety of options, including an omelette station, eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, waffles, yogurt parfaits, fruits, bagels with smoked salmon, and breakfast pastries. Everything was delicious, and I especially loved the scrambled eggs. The service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend checking it out; their regular menu looks amazing as well!
I stopped by for Sunday brunch and everything served at our table was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent as well—just the right amount of attention without being intrusive.
I had a fantastic time at Oktoberfest here! The setup and food were outstanding. The price was $80 per person, which included a set menu and steins that you can keep after dining in. I was truly impressed by the atmosphere and the quality of the food.
Excellent recommendations, food and service by Julia and Aaron’s inventive and superb cocktails were amazing. As a Texan, it pains me to say one of the best margaritas I had (Jalapeno margarita) was in Cali. My dinner entree (salmon) in terms of taste and presentation was on par with top restaurants in Atlanta. Also, the lemon cake was divine. This was by far my favorite spot in Paradise Point. If I lived in San Diego, I would love hanging out here for the food and drinks at least 2-3x a week.
