Quite possibly greatest burger in all of California. I’ve had many burgs in my day but this blew them all out of the water. The pizza’s perfect especially the ricotta. Get both and pair with a beer for proper indulgence.The atmosphere and price can’t be beat. Simple and perfect. Many burger joints will try but will never replicate what they do so naturally. I had both a dirty flat top cheeseburger and a slice of pizza. They were both delicious. Service was top notch. The person that took our order brought all our food and drinks to the table we were waiting at and the food was prepared very quickly. I wish the location was in a better spot to find parking easier and bigger to have more tables to eat at.
The Friendly is the counterpart to The Friendly Tavern and serves pizza in addition to their burgers. The Friendly serves only their classic cheeseburger, no fries or sides. I went at night around 9pm and the vibe is more like a bar serving food with the music playing. Not a negative for me but for families, I recommend going for early dinner or going to the Friendly Tavern instead. The veggie pizza slice was crisped up nicely from the oven and was delicious. A solid pizza slice that I'd be happy with anywhere, anytime. But the main attraction is the Dirty Flat Top Cheeseburger. They make them all to order and so I recommend dining in and enjoying it immediately. The patty is smashed down and had that great crispy char on the outside and the cheese, mayo, onions rounds out this simple but oh so good cheeseburger.
Pretty good food here. Might be because we came closer to closing but food came out really fast. Lanksa Curry with Egg Noodle was prob the best of the bunch. MI Goreng tasted a lot like Panda Express' chow mein LOOL (I mean that as a complement actually). Ingredients were fresh and everything was made to order. Will definitely be back!
Definitely the most solid pizza place in the entire area, and exactly what the neighborhood was missing. Also keep in mind the special's menu is SPECIAL, I've tried a few things on there including the Mexican candy shop Foie Gras and Flat Top burger and was honestly blown away. Apparently the mad scientist in the back knows exactly what he's fu&%ing doing. Literally everything about this place is legit, I now no longer have any reason to eat pizza anywhere else.
The Dirty Flat top burger is amazing. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Slices are thin and crispy and they even have a dairy free/vegan slice. Awesome place, highly recommend it.
