purple was as delicious as our server. very friendly and knowledgeable she really designed an unforgettable experience paired with a great meal for all my guests. jambalaya was a hit! View all feedback.
We ordered the pastrami sandwich and the chicken panini. Both were great. Chicken was thick and tasty and the vegetables inside the sandwich were tasty too. The pastrami was lightly burnt around the herbs and spices edges just how we like it. Service seemed on par with a nice upscale steak restaurant (good thing) and decent selection of beer and wine (though we did not have any alcohol this time). The menu was priced according to a nicer lunch experience, so it's not the bang for your buck, but being able to have garlic fries instead of regular with no extra cost is a positive tick in the column. We will have to come back for a glass of something!
Good spot, close to many neighborhoods and offices. Great service and food. I'm big fan of the one in Rancho Bernardo. This one is even better with seating, ambiance and service. Good appetizers menu and short rib is the best!

I came for dinner after work with my co-workers and I must say The Barrel Room did not disappoint. We sat at a bar table and had Laurie as our bartender/server. She was great, very attentive throughout our dining experience. She always made sure our waters were filled, and plates were bussed, and wine was full! The food was delicious, I ordered the jambalaya. It was a perfect level of spicy and was filled with flavorful vegetables, chicken, and sausage. I ended my meal with the coconut passion fruit pannacotta. Perfect amount of tart and sweet, very delicious! The whole ambiance was great. I will be back!
Not a massive collection of beers on tap or spirits but a decent list to choose from. Food is good and well prepared and presented but portions are a little small. Apparently they age and cure their own meats which is pretty cool. We came for happy hour (just missed it when it ended at 6pm) and had a good experience.
