By far the second best indian place in san diego (best place I've been to in the US). Dinner Buffet is the best option, they make really good gajar ka halwa (carrot halwa), my friend could not stop eating it. View all feedback.
What Kunjan Patel doesn't like about Sitar Indian Cuisine:
The flavour is ok but quantity is extremely less. I have attached the photo. Even not enough for one person like me who does not each much. You can see in photo for 10 dollars i was given quantity and i have compared with a dip so you can see how small quantity it is. I would not take away next time. Also they have shown in photo but it is in a good court so they have no dedicated space of restaurant. Hence there is... View all feedback.
This is easily the second-best Indian restaurant in San Diego (and the best I've been to in the U.S.). The dinner buffet is definitely the way to go; they have an excellent gajar ka halwa (carrot halwa) that my friend couldn't get enough of!
The best Indian food at incredibly affordable prices! The dishes are absolutely delicious, and I’m amazed at how they can offer such great value. I really enjoy coming here!
This is hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in San Diego—I’ve lived here for decades! While nothing can compare to their buffet, I’m writing this review during the quarantine to highlight their amazing takeout. The flavors are just as vibrant as when they had their buffet, and you can really tell they put a lot of love and attention into their takeout. I highly recommend trying the masala dosa and tikka masala!

My favorite Indian restaurant in all of Sorrento Valley! The owner/chef is so dedicated that till date he still spends time in the kitchen. This kind of premium quality is very rare to find in such a busy lunch place. Many Indian restaurants come and go but this place has been standing still for 2 decades now and will continue to for many decades to come!
