Rakiraki Ramen Tsukemen - San Diego

The food was delicious and tasty, the place was cool and the staff were friendly, but they can improve their customer service with hiring more staff! You don’t get the best customer service here, but the food is good and it is worth the try.Food: 5/5

My partner and I went to RakiRaki on a Monday afternoon. No wait but the restaurant was about 80% full and unlike most restaurants they were fully staffed.Our server quickly sat us and and gave us 5 different menus. It was nice to have so many food and drink options but I felt they could have consolidated their menu, especially since they removed and taped over some items on multiple menus.While we were trying to look over all the menus, our server, Angela, stopped by 3 times to ask us if we were ready. She was so attentiveWe ordered the jumbo extra crispy gyoza, the oxtail tsukemen, and the hakata ramen with chasiu. The gyoza was pretty crispy and larger than normal but nothing special. Also the sauce was like bbq and a dark soy...was not expecting that. The ramen broth had a weird sour flavor, not like the usual umami broth I'm used to with ramen. The noodles were a little chewier which I enjoyed.When the we paid, Angela made sure she was compensated for her good service. We didn't get to choose how much we wanted to tip, I saw her press the 20% option before we handed her our card. This is the main reason why I will not return.

This place was packed on a Friday night but so worth the wait! First time coming to this location and was kind of thrown off by the three menus. Everything looked and sounded so good and I had a difficult time picking but went with the karaage curry donburi. So delicious!There was a great atmosphere here and the decor is really cute! Can't wait to be back to see if I can get seated on the other side!

First time eating Ramen and it was DELICIOUS!! The experience and the service are really good. It is not expensive and portion are big.If you party is big, look to do carpool since parking is limited.I totally recommend this restaurant if you like Ramen

Me and my son had a amazing time Here. For early Father's day and he really enjoyed it so much. I really enjoyed it myself as well. Will return again. Thanks for so much for a amazing experience and delicious food ?.Food: 5/5
