Pernicano's - San Diego

I am visiting from out of town and thought I'd try this restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was amazing! The service was great! Everyone is so friendly and quick. For the food we got a pepperoni pizza and the cannelloni with the cup of clam chowder. Also we had the warm rolls. Every single thing was amazing! My teenager kept asking why we don't have pizza like this near us and is asking to return here. The portions are huge! The ambiance inside the restaurant is great! We came in on a Friday night and the restaurant wasn't even half full, made for an even better experience for us, but I wish this company had more business as they deserve! Great restaurant, great food, great people, highly recommended!!

We've tried this restaurant a couple times and have not been disappointed. The bruschetta appetizer is very good as is the Caprese salad that comes with the meal. I had the chicken penne pesto, my date had the pork chop and tiger shrimp special. We both really enjoyed our meals. Not only is the food tasty, the service is excellent! Gotta try this restaurant for a good Italian dinner.

This neighborhood gem makes the most amazing Italian dishes we have ever tasted! From their delicious lasagna and creamy Alfredo fettuccini to my girlfriend's favorite, capellini pomodoro... authentic Italian cuisine right around the corner. And their pizzas are amazing and so satisfying with rich flavors and a wonderfully light crust.Dine in or take out, Pernicano's IS ITALIAN at its best! And they ALWAYS support our veterans and military with their generous discount. Thank you, Jerry!
