Contribute FeedbackDespite some mixed reviews, this upscale restaurant in La Jolla offers a beautiful setting with superb views. While some criticize the overpriced drinks and mediocre food, others rave about the excellent service and delicious meals. The terrace provides a wonderful dining experience, although the ladies restroom is located three floors down without an elevator. Overall, the restaurant seems to have its ups and downs, with some guests eager to return for the food and ambiance, while others are hesitant due to high prices and subpar service.
It was a beautiful day in La Jolla. The terrace view was wonderful. Great service and food. The only item of inconvenience was the ladies restroom wast three floors down. No elevator. The stairs from the main level to the bottom level very dark and hard to see the steps. Other than that inconvenience we will definitely dine there again.
George’s has a terrific staff and a wonderful menu sure to impress anyone.
Ambiance and food were great! Had high expectations for Valentine's Day dinner and they met them. Great on house ceviche.
One of my favorite date night spots in San Diego. We’ve celebrated a birthday and Valentine’s Day here and they never disappoint. Delicious food, beautiful view, great service and they even have blankets to loan you when it’s cold outside.
I called to move our reservation out 30 minutes to 7pm around 530pm and they moved it fine. When we got there it had been raining throughout the day and they said the terrace was closed and we would have to go on the waitlist for a different level. Not sure why when I called at 530pm to move my reservation they didn't explain that the terrace was in fact closed..
