I’ve been eating sushi for the past seven years. Mr.Wasabi’s is great for those who want a quick sushi run and that’s it. There is nothing perfect but Mr. Wasabi keep it up there. The owner, Jangshi is always nice. I always like their atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable like a family style. I’ve never waited too long for the food to come out. If so that mean they have a full house which happens all the time and it’s very understandable. I love to look at a gigantic plates which is full of different kinds of sushi. They have a lot of great looking sushi that I’ll keep going and try different ones. My favorite is Hawaiian rolls coz I like something crunchy on top of sushi. I also love their appetizer, Calamari Salad and Agedashi Tofu. Their house salad dressing is to die for. I’m just addicted to it. Everything their is fresh and of good quality. The service is quite attentive. I live 5 mins from Mr. Wasabi so I don’t think I wanna go out of my way to somewhere else coz this is perfect! Check out their recent 10% discount coupon on their website!!

It’s a very convenient location in the heart of mira mesa. So if i’m really desperate for sushi and don’t want to make the drive to niban in clairemont or ginza in the hazard center, mr wasabi is a decent place to go to get my fix of sushi. The quality of the food is pretty good, but the prices are really high. their rolls are average. the hawaiin roll was pretty good though.
