The surf and turf burrito is delicious. The burrito is HUGE 10x4 inches and it was a challenge to finish but I got there. The burrito is chocked full of meat that is well cooked and tender and then the grilled onions, guacamole, and other veg added a lot of flavor. Very satisfied. Great value for money

If your hungry and looking for a big meal the meat here is thick and good double tortilla topped off well, it’s a family Business fast tocas shop and nice people, it’s gets packed so get a spot and a parking spot fast.

Visiting San Diego this week and I must have my Mexican food fix! When that craving hits I always find myself here, why we’ll because the food is really good. I know there are a million other Mexican food places in San Diego that I could go to and get the same thing, but this place is where I wind up. The place is located in a very small strip mall. Parking is very limited so you might start looking for a Spot as soon as you get close. I had Caldo de Res, that’s beef soup with lots of vegetables, and tender slow cooked beef. My wife had a Lengua burrito, that’s beef tongue very tender and flavorful. I also had some rolled taco’s only because I can’t get them near my home in Texas. Everything was really good I highly recommend Jv’s !

The food was absolutely fantastic. The kids meal is huge and you get so much for what you pay for! kids meal is the taco, 2 1/2 quesadillas rice and beans. The Horchata was the perfect drink for our carne asada fries and carnitas plate! $35 including taxes and tip for all this!

Authentic Mexican food for a low price. many deals with many under $10 options. huge burritos. friendly quick service. delicious.
