What User doesn't like about Jump Tokyo:
This is easily the worst sushi restaurant in San Diego. The customer service is terrible, and the food is inconsistent. Don't bother with take-out or dining in, as the server rushes and carelessly tosses the rolls into a box. I won't be spending money here again, and I recommend that you don’t either. This local sushi spot is excellent and consistently offers high-quality dishes. I really enjoy the specials they have. It’s one of my favorite places to visit. The manager/owner is always incredibly friendly, and you can see that she genuinely cares about her business and providing great food.
I've ordered from this restaurant probably over 50 times, and they've never let me down. The food is always delicious and the service is quick. Plus, the staff is incredibly kind!
This is a laid-back and welcoming sushi restaurant. I really enjoy their chef's choice dinner and the no-rice roll, which is my favorite. I've also tried their ramen, and it's quite delicious!

We come here weekly because the sushi is SO FRESH and the staff is very kind. But often they have the TV on with the volume up where the sushi chefs work AND all kinds of music on the overhead system. Definite sensory overload. Not where you want to be for a peaceful meal. We often take our meal to the outside seating area if there's seating available. Only two tables outside so sometimes we just take our meal to go.
