Ihop - San Diego

The experience was enjoyable. It appears they are returning to the service levels seen before COVID, although they only had a single dispenser of maple syrup on the table, whereas they used to offer three or four varieties. This location was unexpectedly very busy. I assume many people from Tijuana dine here while on shopping trips to the outlet mall. Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic.

I absolutely love visiting this restaurant, especially the one near the mall. Their pancakes are incredibly delicious and practically melt in your mouth! I also tried their ham and cheese omelet special, which was just how I like it — loaded with cheese. I'm making myself hungry just thinking about it, haha! I ended up with so much food that I had leftovers to enjoy later. The staff is friendly and polite, and the food is served promptly.

The food was excellent as always, but the service today was particularly disappointing. It took 30 minutes for our order to be taken after we were seated, and then it took another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Overall, the service was just slow and lacking.

I?m putting 3 stars because the food was good, but GINA my waitress was the worst one we could get!!! She took our order brought it to our table and that was it, she never asked if we needed anything else, she never came back to our table until we asked forthe check. She did passes by our table several times and approached a customer who was seating next to our table (which wasn?ther table) and asked if everything was ok, if he was doing good, and even several personal questions, she just didn?t want toserve us!! By other hand HAILEY which wasn?t our waitress was super nice and helpful when we asked for additional things that weneeded, she helped us with a smiley and the best attitude posible even when she wasn?t our waitress. I work customer service Iknow how this works and it?s annoying having people working in this type of business when they clearly aren?t happy doing whatthey do

Worst Experience Ever. Horrible Service. Our severed messed up a Banana shake 2 times! No one ever asked if we needed anything until we finished. Found a broken piece of plastic from the blender in the 2nd shake that my daughter could haveswallowed, but luckily I pulled it out of my mouth when I drank the shake.
