I just visited this little gem last night, and I can't give it anything less than 5 stars! The wait time was reasonable, especially since every restaurant was packed this weekend. Filippi’s is a San Diego institution. Great Italian food in Little Italy. Great pizza and pasta. There is an Italian deli and market in the front of the restaurant. They’ll give your child a ball of pizza dough to keep them busy while waiting for your food.
We received recommendations from 3 different friends for this restaurant. We decided to give it a go didn’t regret it. The pizza was delicious the cheese was perfect! The chicken parmigiana was thicker than most the side of lasagna was rich. The soup was yummy the salad bread didn’t disappoint.
Amazing place! Love the setup and food is amazing. One of my spots whenever I come to town.
Our family has been coming to this Filippi’s for 30 years. Nothing has changed! Literally!!! The food is great and we love the rustic charm.
