We usually come here for the shrimp and garlic noodles. This time we got the oysters and they were good also the ? poppers. The shrimp seemed overcooked though and the price for a bowl of steamed ? seemed way too steep.Food: 4/5 View all feedback.
What JAY doesn't like about Crab Hut:
Food was ok not great. Wine pours are only 5 ounces and for price paid we get 9 ounces at other establishments. The worst part of this experience was the horrible rap music being played so loud you could barely hear the conversation at the table without almost yelling at each other. Terrible dinning experience, and we will not repeat. We asked them to play something else or at least turn it down but nothing happened. View all feedback.
Food is good, Note, they automatically charge a service fee. I dont think that is fair. OF 18% CHARGE AUTOMATICALLY.Food: 4/5
I do come here literally once a month. I always need my fix for a seafood boil and this place never seems to have a wait. They have changed the fries and OMG I am OBSSESSED. I love the fact that they are waffles and crinkle cut now. We went on a Sunday and this place does maintain a decent number of customers. I do find that maybe it is scarcer in customers due to the fact that the cost here is a little more expensive in comparison to other seafood places. I can tell you that the food is always good perfectly to the point where it is not too hard to peel or crack the seafood. I do highly suggest opening the bag and curling it into a bowl, so it does not overcook completely with all the trapped air inside.
Crab Hut is a Cajun/Creole Seafood restaurant. They have happy hour on Weekdays from 3-7pm with some great deals. The oysters I ordered were 50% off! Their oysters were fresh and the had a great variety of sauces. The sauces were a little bit bland though but I did enjoy them with the tabasco and lemon. Their seafood boil was amazing because of how flavorful their sauce was. I ordered medium spicy and it was manageable. The crawfish, shrimp, and crab legs were amazing quality. The crab legs had a lot of meat! The service was fast and my server was very attentive and friendly! The ambiance was great too with good lighting.

It's not bad, I just don't see myself coming back. I usually frequent other similar places with the same concept, but wanted to try something different. We ordered 2 lbs of shrimp and 1 lb of mussel, both with the Full House sauce, as well as 6 oysters. The Full House sauce is not flavorful; it was bland, watery, and not thick enough for my liking. Shrimp seemed overcooked and was hard to peel. Best thing was the oysters in my opinion. They tell you right away that there's an 18% gratuity... so all of this plus a beer and margarita, cost over $150. It didn't seem worth it.
