I visited this restaurant for the first time and the food was excellent! The Cajun House sauce in spicy and medium flavors was very tasty. I ordered the clam chowder, chicken tenders, a pound of snow crab, and shrimp. The customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was clean. I would definitely come back again. However, there have been some recent issues with customer service and the flavoring of the dishes. View all feedback.
What Not of the World doesn't like about Crab City:
Terrible service! I went to pick up an order that I was told would be ready when I arrived. The young man at the front counter, with a ponytail and shaved head, asked for my name, which I gave him. He failed to mention that it would be an extra 20 minutes for the order. I stood there for 8 minutes, waiting in front of him, and he said nothing. The seafood boil bag was delicious. The flavor and heat was good. You get a good amount for the price. It was a bit pricey but worth it.
I don’t write many reviews, but this place definitely rates one. Not only was the food fresh and flavorful the atmosphere was chill. The restaurant was family friendly, clean and has great customer service. I like spicy food and the spicy level was perfect. I tried the cajon house flavor with the number two meal more then enough for two plus a child.
I ate here today because I have a hinkering for a seafood boil at lunch from time to time. I think this place should have thought smaller first. It seems like a very large investment into a market that is just getting on its feet in san diego. I get their vision and I commend them but they need to create a stance before investing into a facility like this. I think their house cajun sauce has good flavor and heat.. has everything you look for in cajun but could have had a little more salt...(impo) but that can be corrected by what they supply to you if you want, so I can't complain...what I did like ? I can go there for 25 bucks and get my fill with clean shrimp and very decent sized crawfish.... my reccomendation, keep it up... keep the lunch specials going, if you do then you have a repeat customer cause I need a quick good lunch like this at leat once a week.

From this restaurant on a tour through san diego. the name crab city has caught my eye because I like to crawl fres. was not disappointed, it was delicious! I was in the sky of the king crab! ordered the kajun king krabbe combo with kartoffels and mais, and the taste was amazing. my man (who does not eat seafood) had the garlic noodles and we shared a side garlic bread. there was nothing we didn't like, it was all delicious! I also gave the beer sampler an attempt, beloved 3 of my 4 choices. the service was friendly and the food arrived on time. we will definitely be back at our next visit to san diego.
