The Hornblower Cruise was a comfortable and smooth ride, the night was just perfect for a romantic walk on the deck among the San Diego lights, and the openness of the ship made you feel like you had plenty of room to freely wander. What John Alhelm doesn't like about City Cruises San Diego:
This restaurant is overrated. The banquet food was not good. The evening cruise only offered about 25% of the trip with scenic views of the city skyline. If you want a window seat, you'll need to pay extra (a minimum of $240 for two), which is disappointing. Additionally, they require a credit card upfront and have a strict no-refund policy for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance. View all feedback.
We celebrated Easter with our family during a brunch cruise. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was good. We had a fantastic time and would definitely do it again.
I went with my boyfriend and another couple for a fun night out and we had such a great time. The three hour cruise went by so fast with just enough time between food courses so we could walk around the boat and dancing music to fit the crowd. We will be doing another cruise again soon.

The wine list had one of my favorites, which made my evening pleasurable (7- Deadly Zins). Dancing was fun, romantic, and who cares if you can't dance a step. The night ended as if you lost a friend when you walked off the ship to find your car. A wonderful dinner and a night out under the stars in style on the cruising waters of San Diego....it was well worth it..
Enjoyed the evening. Food was not very good, service was very good. Wished there would have been a bit of a narration about the passing sights.
Everyone should go once. The food was alright. Not a favorite.
