silvester, probably booked. reservation for 2 at 930. the service was not very good. personal was polite and cheerful, but long stretch without service if necessary. eating was excellent. if I pay this amount, I expect a better service. I was disappointed. View all feedback.
The meal and service was outstanding! The bartender mixed one of the best drinks I’ve ever had The Cessna Pilot. My husband and I had the couples special Tomahawk for two. Will definitely return next time we’re in San Diego.
I was extremely disappointed by both the service and the food quality at this restaurant.
We were able to make easy reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. My only preference would have been for the steak to be aged for 30-45 days rather than the 21 days it was aged for.
The food was not good at all! I ended up paying too much for subpar food.
Good food and perfectly cooked tomahawk. Service was good although pretty empty restaurant, you’d think you would get more attentive service. We opted for the “tomahawk special” and when I asked difference, was told it included accompaniments. I asked if same price as the tomahawk we were going to order and told yes. We opted to go with that but lo and behold, it was about $100 extra and the steak on lava stone wasn’t what we were served!! The excuse was “we must be out of them” and again restaurant was pretty empty. Also, the sides were asparagus, potatoes and a frisée salad. If we’d ordered it as we originally wanted, we’d definitely not have paid that much more. It was rather deceptive and for that reason, it left a bad impression!! Good steak but lack of service is the downfall.
