I’ve been to other similar places but so far this one has been the best one in the area. The meat is good and fresh along with other sides and condiments. The service is really good and fast . Very welcoming environment. Good for family and friends. View all feedback.
The quality of the food itself is rather good, and better than I expected. There is various types of meat one can choose, although it can be overwhelming for new customers entering this environment. The service was neat, fast, and direct. They constantly catered to the needs of customers. Responded quickly to any orders the customers had and made it easier to navigate through the menu. The atmosphere is spacious, and doesn’t feel cramped. There is enough space to feel as you have your own area. The place has glass all over to give this feel of extra space and light, while also keeping the temperature of the place at a perfect level. It can tend to get loud in there, but overall nothing to over the top.
Bring your appetite...great place for a bunch of hungry appetites! Be prepared to fork out the dough too. Keep in mind there is a two hour seating limit so cook and eat efficiently . Everyone in your party is required to order from the same menu; there are three ranging in price. Of course, the more expensive, the more variety. I think if you let the wagyu beef or rib eye steak reach room temp, maybe 45 minutes or so, your meat will be much more tender. The bulgogi and a number of items were so delicious! Mouthwatering! Baby Octopus is not for everyone. It 's located at the mall, so parking is easy. They were very slow with bringing more water which is a necessity in my opinion.
I have been here 3x in the last month and wasn 't here for since covid so that should speak for itself The food has always been good but they 've recently stepped it up and what stands out here is the abundance of salads which weirdly includes Caesar salads , quality of the meats, and solid ventilation so your eyes don 't water bathing in meat juices. The service here, when it is firing on all cylinders, is among the best in SD but when it slacks, it REALLY slacks. I might get just 2-3 visits during the whole meal and have to flag people down multiple times for food.My biggest gripe has been the transparency on pricing. I 've come in twice during the opening hours on a Sunday and during a holiday and was told that lunch prices were not valid and that they would be charging dinner pricing. The first time it was because it was the Labor Day holiday, totally understandable and I can see it helping the staff as they probably added more people to handle the crowds. On Sunday I was bewildered when they just casually threw out because it 's the weekend . As a consumer I see this as a disrespectful gesture to your customers and just false advertisement in general. Please address this with more clear signage. One last thing that I would like but isn 't a deal breaker would be to have the corn cheese that comes on a plate! The corn here comes in a foil cup and just isn 't the same : The rating overall I give is a 3.5/5 but could definitely bring it up to a 4-4.5!
I recently dined at 356, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. As soon as you 're seated, you 're greeted with a delightful assortment of rice, water, tongs, scissors, and the refreshing Asian slaw salad, which is the perfect side dish to kick off your meal. The Caesar salad, while delicious, is quite saucy, and you 'll get a strong punch of Caesar dressing with every bite. A suggestion would be to request the dressing on the side to customize the sauce to your liking; they 're more than accommodating in this regard.Moving on to the meat selection, the Marinated Beef Short Rib was a standout with an explosion of flavor and a thick cut that truly impressed. If you prefer to avoid bones, the scissors on the table can be handy to cut that portion out. And, for a unique twist, don 't miss seasoning your steak with the matcha salt they provide. The Beef Belly and Brisket were perfectly sliced, offering a balance of deliciousness. Pairing these meats with the soft rice paper provided was a fantastic combination. The Rib Fingers are a must try, especially when cooked medium rare and available with a spicy option. The Soybean Soup is a vegetarian delight filled with zucchini, onions, tofu, and a tomato base, making it a hearty option. The steamed egg is rich in flavor, and a tip with the steamed egg; f you have small children dining with you that has a hard time chewing rice is to add KBBQ sauce for the sweetness, some rice and small cuts meat preferably the beef belly and it 'll be like a egg porridge with meat dish super easy to make and guaranteed your children will have an easy time eating it. For the adventurous diner, the octopus dish offers a show as it curls up while cooking. The tentacle is a highlight, especially when grilled to a crisp. Be cautious with the head, as there 's a small sac you probably want to avoid. Now, the true star of the show the Crisp Spicy Pickled Cucumber. It 's a game changer, and I can 't stress this enough. I 've been to numerous KBBQ places, and this cucumber dish is unmatched. It 's a dish I dream about, and I 'm on a quest to find out where they source these cucumbers! 356 offers ample seating, and if you order from the premium menu, don 't hesitate to ask for a mesh grill for that perfect charbroiled meat flavor. They even have a button for service, so you won 't feel ignored.Lastly, this place has an extensive selection of alcohol, making it an excellent choice for both drinks and grub. Keep in mind that wait times can be on the higher side, so adding your name to the waitlist and exploring the mall is a great way to work up an appetite. Overall, 356 deserves a solid 5/5 a culinary experience worth every moment.
Love this place .. quality meats. All you can eat. Lively atmosphere. A little pricier than other spots but totally worth it. I spent $80 including drinks and tip on a Friday night so still not
