This restaurant is one of the pearls of San Cristobal! Wonderful typical dishes, cooked with heart and knowledge. The portions are right and the price is as fair as it takes into consideration the high quality of the kitchen. This restaurant is not only the food, but a whole concept about Chiapas and their people. The owner and boss, Claudia Ruiz, came to our table and we had a good chat. As a Mexican I am really hap... This is a really lovely local restaurant where you can try regional food prepared in a modern way. But it’s perhaps not the outstanding meal I expected from the other high ratings. My dish was tasty- pumpkin stuffed with chorizo and sauce but my partner’s dish was not good- dry beef wrapped in kale and spinach with more kale and uncooked spinach on the side.
