Like others have said, the owner personally greeted me and helped me choose a vegan pizza with olive oil, tomato, and asparagus. It was absolutely delicious. After reading a few reviews, I was looking forward to dining at this restaurant. However, when I sat down and asked (in my best Spanish) for something vegan, I was only told about the vegetarian pizza. When I inquired if it could be made without cheese, I was met with confused looks and laughter from both familiar faces and employees. Feeling uncomfortable, I decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Beautiful restaurant, good location, very friendly staff, very good English speaking, the cook came to me about the vegan kitchen that he can prepare for me and knew exactly what to do. the food was very tasty I never tasted a dish of this kind.
Like others have mentioned, the owner himself came out to greet me and discuss dinner. We settled on a vegan pizza with olive oil, tomatoes and asparagus. Absolutely fantastic. He said that if I returned he would make me a vegan shepherd’s pie. Staff is openly friendly and service is excellent
I had a delicious pizza with a pesto base and the option of vegan cheese. The staff was friendly and the cocktails were stronger than other places for the same price. There were other options on the menu such as a vegetable pizza (not all ingredients available that day) and pesto pasta.
The restaurant is accommodating of vegan choices. I requested a pizza with vegan cheese and they prepared it for me the following day.
After reading positive reviews, my anticipation was high for dining at this restaurant. However, when I sat down, took a menu, and inquired (in my best Spanish) about vegan options, I was only told about the vegetarian pizza. When I requested it without cheese, I faced confusion and laughter from the staff. Disappointed by the lack of understanding, I decided to leave and dine elsewhere.
