We were in Globe so we decided we should check out this Casino. My complements to management for the most smoke free casino I have ever visited. They do have a smoking casino in a separate area but we couldn't even smell any cigarette odor in the main room. Slots were very modern with plenty of room to play. We'll be back. View all feedback.
What Audreanne Larkin doesn't like about Apache Gold Casino Resort:
Although the new rooms look nice they had a lot to be desired. First impression was a sewage smell coming from bathroom when we walked through the door. The beds might as well been air mattresses as they had zero firmness. The new bed wood frame sticks out too far and all three of us staying in the room hit our shins on them multiple times. Sadly we preferred everything about the old hotel compared to this new version... View all feedback.
The rooms are huge. We have a balcony with a view. The reception ladies are amazing. Our dinner was great at the steakhouse on site. We'll have a bit of breakfast. We will definitely come back.

We spent one night at the hotel. The room was really clean and modern. The bathroom was very up to date. If you get a players card, here, the perks are pretty generous. They gave us each $20 free play for signing up and then, when we took them the receipt for our room they gave us each an additional $20 in free play, plus $24 food vouchers each, and $24 gas vouchers each! We ate ate the restaurant and the food was really good and the lady serving us was really nice. Had a great time!
I booked a Saturday night getaway for me and my guy. Our plan was to enjoy the pool and have a nice dinner at the steakhouse. We arrived in the hotel lobby and we?re greeted with a ?pool closed? sign. We checked in and proceeded to the players club to register. A beautiful storm was rolling in, and being from Phoenix, my dude and I wanted to enjoy it. We asked if there was a patio anywhere on the grounds and were told that? there is a roped off smoking area but that?s it, and we couldn?t bring anything to drink there with us. We stood outside for awhile enjoying the weather and decided to pour a glass of wine in the room and walk the hotel grounds. We were almost immediately approached by a security person in a van who asked if we were drinking alcohol. We said yes and he insisted that we ?spill it?. He also said ?they?re watching you, they sent me over?. We apologized and obliged his request. A little frustrated and hungry we decided to go to the steakhouse for dinner. We arrived at 7:00 on Saturday night, a few tables were seated waiting for their food. We waited a moment and someone approached us and said the restaurant is closed. We headed to the cafe in the casino and had arguably the worst meal of our lives. The ribeye was all fat and the potato was hard an inch through as if it had been in a warmer drawer for way too long. We settled into the fact that the only thing to do at Apache Gold was gamble. We pulled out our players cards, played the $88 they gave us in free play, didn?t even win enough to at least keep playing for a while. We headed to the room. The bed had three tiny, flat pillows on it, and a mattress so soft that it was like a taco when you lay down with someone. Arguably the worst nights sleep of my life. The room was very clean and grounds well kept. Sadly though, there was no way to enjoy them.
Had a great time. The casino was fun. Not very busy, as we were there mid-week. Had a great night in the hotel. Wonderful room and friendly staff. We had a delicious breakfast. Prices are reasonable and our waitress was congenial and attentive. I hope to return to the Apache Gold Casino and Resort the next time I'm visiting the area from New York ??
