What a cute place!! Order and pay for the food yourself on the Kiosk. Ordered the Longsilog Dosirak half rice half japchae. This box was so flavorful and I love the eggs! Now the Bulhoagie special was a bit lacking. It was dry, if only the bread cold have been buttery or flavored that would have helped. Or even add more sauce to the meat. What Susanna K doesn't like about J.m.t Just My Toast:
Came here for lunch. They ran out of dukgalbu toast so we ordered the shrimp toast and charsiu toast. Carbonated drinks were out too... The shrimp was moist and soft, I would prefer it to have a crunch or crispy outside. The charsiu was juicy but bland, be nice to have sauce on it? View all feedback.
PSA: As of 1/22/23, JMT is temporarily closed. Hope everything is okay with the store owners!
Tried all different types of Korean street toasts. This is just average not even close to real street Korean street toast.

We ended up adding the kimchi/cucumbers from the dosirak into the sandwich to give it more flavor. The smashed potatoes were very good garlic butter flavored. It would be even more great if they offered dipping sauces on the side. Oooh this would be great if they did it loaded with meat and cheese!!
Cute little restaurant for Korean street toast! I've seen the toasts on YouTube and even tried making them at home, but JMT uplevels those with several delicious offerings plus dosiraks, which are like Korean bento boxes. We came for lunch and got two sandwiches. They also have rotating specials there was an interesting sounding Po' Boy toast with a shrimp patty! However as it was our first time, we got: Signature Toast: thin slices of ham with cheese, egg, pickles, red cabbage slaw, pickles and corn in between buttery grilled milk toast. Nice balance of flavors, with the perfect grill on the toast making it crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Recommended! Ddukgalbi Toast: a ground pork/beef patty topped with caramelized onion, tomato, lettuce and a mild gochujang aioli in between buttered grilled milk toast. This was quite a bit messier with the onion drippings, and less spicy than I expected with the gochujang, but still pretty tasty. Hard to pick a favorite but I would give the Signature a slight edge since it's less messy plus the pickles give a nice acidity to the sandwich. On the downside, many of the special drinks were not available, and the toasts were a little pricey, but overall they were nicely filling and a great lunch alternative. We'll be back !
Finally had the opportunity to check this place out, more than once. It's a good sandwich, it's different from your typical sandwich on white/wheat bread, the bread is a milk toast--light and soft. The menu changed a bit from my last visit, they added a breakfast toast selection and dosirak--basically a small lunch box with protein, rice and side dish (think bento box). I've ordered the Ddukgalbi, JMT signature, umma's brekkie, smashed potatoes and chicken dosirak. The Ddukgalbi was a little messy (maybe it was just me), but quite tasty. Even with the gochujang (red pepper paste) it wasn't very spicy. The signature was good and it's a good entry level sandwich--ham and cheese on soft toasted bread the cabbage is different from the typical lettuce. The brekkie is another good entry level sandwich with added avocado. Breakfast for lunch--nothing wrong with that! The lunchbox may look small at presentation, but it was packed with chicken, jap chae, rice and scrambled egg and it was filling. So far I've enjoyed my sandwiches and the dosirak lunch box, but my all time favorite is the smashed potatoes--crispy on the outside, buttery and tender smashed potatoes. I don't know what it is about those potatoes, but it is absolutely delicious and goes great with the sandwich and keeps me coming back! It's not only a great place for sandwiches, but it's a nice to hangout. You don't have to dine and dash.
