We go every weekend, the plates Tacos remind me of the kitchen of my grandmother including the handmade tortillas and mol. Live music creates a warm and fun atmosphere. I'm from Mexico and this restaurant is a hidden San Antonio local gem. Also in winter they have authentic capirotada, fideo and tortilla soup. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Piedras Negras De Noche:
The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t necessarily anything special either. I wasn’t a huge fan of their barbacoa.. which I was super bummed over because it’s typically one of my favorite things to eat) : It’ll do but San Antonio definitely has way better Mexican food to offer! View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is pretty good, but the quality of service varies depending on the waiter or waitress you get. On occasion, they may not come by your table and you have to actively seek them out for assistance.
The restraunt was very inviting and clean. The host and staff behind the counter were friendly. Ordered the steak and enchilada plate but was disappointed in the steak itself. I was expecting juicy but it was dry and almost seemed like it had been sitting there awhile. Everything else was very good but I wouldn't recommend that dish.
Great portions. Price is cheap, delicious. Home made tortillas (corn and flour) Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to eat menudo. Machacado and steak a la mexicana is what we had for lunch. We definitely planing on coming back. Liliana was our server, she was amazing. Our coffee cup was always above half full.
You must try the carne guisada and barbacoa tacos at this restaurant.
Goid food good service. The chile rellainor is stuffed with a meat mixture not just cheese.
