Zabu Zabu - San Mateo

We came here on a Saturday evening and had the all-you-can eat. There was a 'before 7:30pm ' special so I believe the price was $23 a person for the traditional broth. If you want other flavors for your broth, it 's $6 more. The service was great and the meat was high quality. We enjoyed the beef and the tongue the most. Zabu Zabu definitely gives you as much refills as you can eat and do not nickel and dime you as a lot of all-you-can-eat joints would after a few servings. You also get vegetables (tofu, carrot, greens), and rice or udon noodles with your meal. Also, make sure to save some room for the ice cream dessert that is also complimentary!

I really enjoyed this place. The food quality was excellent and if you are especially hungry, this is the place to go. For one price, they just keep piling the food onto you until you feel like an iceberg, Plenty of veggies and lean meats for the choosing.

Terrible service. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to seat us. It was cold inside. And the tip is automatically included. A disappointment and expensive.

A good selection of flavors if not a dollar or so overpriced. Lately, My orders have had mistakes. One of my orders lacked milk so I asked for a fix, and the replacement was essentially all milk and barely any tea. feeling less and less likely of returningFood: 5/5
