VILLAGE California Bistro & Wine Bar

Village bistro is a popular place from me to meet friends for lunch. eating is consistently good and there is enough variety to please most. I also know that the staff never rushes you. that said we started with a big server and were then turned around to another one that we'd flag down a few times for coffee refills. I will definitely return and hope only to get a good server as I had visited each other in the last few years.

We had a very friendly server, and my fiancée and I enjoyed the atmosphere very much, even if we sit from the bar. they enjoyed the trout, although I must say that the baked bark was somewhat smaller than I liked for the price. overall we have remained satisfied. would recommend.

The service was wonderful! it has been a long time since we had dined in the restaurant because of not so great service in the past. keep the good service. the food and the wine was great.

This was a lunch with my coworkers and boss. I specifically chose this location due to previously having excellent service and wine selection. Lunch service was not the same experience as dinner. Although the food was great. Late breakfast and lunch was a fun surprise. The wine was good! Everything could have been perfect if our waitress was as good as others that I have had. She could have been having an off day, or was just taking it easy for lunch. I’m not sure. Just a little disappointed and regretted my recommendation.

Average. Service below average. Needs to be remodeled. Dated.
