Food was delicious. If you're eating alone they let you get half portions of dishes, which lets you try twice the dishes

Excellent wine map of the Italian and Austrian regions and small very tasty dishes with Sardinian and super fresh oysters! the service was professional with exactly the right amount of attention.

The restaurant received mixed reviews from patrons, with some praising the food, service, and ambiance, while others found the portions small and the flavors lacking. Overall, diners enjoyed the creative variety of the menu and the attentive service. However, some felt that the noise level and uncomfortable seating detracted from their experience. Despite these criticisms, many found the food to be delicious, with unique flavor combinations and stunning presentation. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, ensuring guests ordered enough to feel satisfied. While the price may be on the higher side, many still found The Progress to be worth the experience.

The cocktail called The Remedy was delicious and so was the caviar mashed potato appetizer. The duck was also amazing as were the beignets and the the apple sorbet. The prices seemed outrageous however with the duck having a price tag of $75.00 and the caviar potato dish which was about 2 ozs was $18.00 a pop.

Everything about this place was perfect, from the service, to the food, to the environment.

Everything I ate was delicious. Everything I saw looked delicious. Very happy the server mentioned the possibility of half portions on many items. A game changer for those with small appetites but want to enjoy multiple items. BRAVO!

We went to The Progress as our first dinner in SF. The location and the staff were very nice. The food was very good and the wine list had some interesting choice of natural wines. Even though the overall experience was very good, we were expecting more generous portions.

Relaxed vibes with high quality food and service. Original dishes that surprise, yet satisfy. Their sharing plate concept for a convivial experience to share with friends and family. Besides loads of delicious vegetarian options, the fish dishes and duck are a must try. Amazing and attentive service ????

All the dishes were delicious and well presented. Had the half duck very good, but is a very big serving so it?s good to prepare for that. We couldn?t finish this dish as it was the last one out. Didn?t like the green seaweed side that came with it. Fried rice is on the spicier side. Black cod fish delicious. Greens added a nice flavor to soft fish. Spot prawn bread one of our favorites! The sauce was amazing. Potato bread yummy! Burrrata with beans beans were

Their doing some great things at The Anchovy Bar. A really good globally inspired seafood restaurant. Started with a tasty signature Western Addition oyster. Then I do have to say the quality fish of their fish is top notch. Their was a lot ofcreativity and flavor in their toasts. Then I had some beautifully steamed clams in a buttery broth. Some super soft potatoesserved with some nice whipped seafood infused butter. And their desserts and drink options are on point as well. All in all youneed to come here for dinner. Dos fishes up????????

We ordered Californian Anchovies, Halibut Ceviche, Oysters and the seafood stew. Everything was delicious! Portions are small tho. We were seated outdoors which was pretty windy and cold but overall we enjoyed the restaurant. Will pass on dessert

Unique aromas. Portion is well designed. We follow the proposal ordered a small bite, a vegetable, a dish and a dish for two people. Service is great. Reservation required.

The Progress was my first Californian experience, and it was great. I loved the atmosphere of the place, and the food was great. It is a bit hard to find parking, but other than that, the place is highly recommended

One of our favorite restaurants in SF. Highly creative and flavorful cuisine that blow your mind. The portions are not huge but that’s because there’s so much thought and effort put into each dish, which you can taste! Delicious cocktails as well, fun sitting at the bar. Thanks and we’ll be back soon!

What a hoot. The philosophy behind the menu is interesting in creating a progression through the meal. The menu was light and small plates made it a great social sharing vibe. Our server recommended an excellent bottle of wine and was extremely personable and attentive. Overall, a great experience. Look at the fun dipping salad pic tho.

The food at The Progress had the most unique flavor combinations and dishes that I have ever tried. The presentation was stunning and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. They made sure we ordered enough food to get full since the portions are generally on the smaller side. My favorites were the caviar potato cloud and the masa dumplings. It is a pricier restaurant but well worth the experience.

I really wish this restaurant was in my neighborhood! The innovative and intriguing cuisine comes with a stylish presentation. Every dish we tried was outstanding. Everything except the potato was a great portion for sharing. The service was impeccable and perfectly timed, ensuring we made it to the concert next door on schedule. I highly recommend this place—be sure to make a reservation to make things easier for everyone!
