The Cellar offers a cool atmosphere with great drinks, but small portions of food more suited for socializing than dining. Despite some pricing concerns, the cheese boards and olive dish are exceptional. The service is excellent, the ambiance pleasant, and unique cocktails are worth trying. They made me feel welcome and at home from the moment I walked in the door. Classy place, extensive wine list. Bartender was a very nice guy and knowledgeable. My date was impressed. One of my all-time favorite San Clemente restaurants! The truffle popcorn on the dinner menu is so good you’ll want to order seconds. And the cheese boards are simple but exquisite. Sitting in their outside patio on a lovely California day drinking a Hugo Spritz in the sunshine is my definition of a perfect time in this little beach town. Absolutely check it out- you won’t be disappointed! Meal type: Lunch
