TOP RESTAURANT in ave pico san clemente area. The chicken here is unbeatable so far. No lathering of bbq sauce or obnoxious flavors. Straight fire chicken bathed in garlic and lime, along with the jalapeno sauce or Chile de arbol, if your in time get the posole, if your a salad person get a bowl, with the shrimp, so many delicious options, definitely a MUST STOP at san Clemente. The owners Joan and Karen take pride in there small restaurant and its noticeable. Great job surfin chicken.
Surfin' Chicken Grill was amazing. I had the Carne Asada nachos and they were so good. They make Burritos, tacos, posole, chicken plates you name it they have it. Please everyone go try out Surfin' Chicken Grill. I wish I had tried it before. Thank you so much Jo!!
Best value in town plus the food is always prepared fresh and is phenomenal. The open flame grill puts places like el pollo loco to shame! The new owners have also done a great job by keeping the OG menu items but also adding new ones. Food tastes thesame and quality has remained the same if not better!
You should definitely visit this place! It's family-owned, and the quality and taste of the food are outstanding, all at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, and the food is grilled right in front of you. I stumbled upon it on my way home from work, and I will definitely return!
