Contribute FeedbackRBL is a popular spot in Old Town that has received mixed reviews from diners. While some guests had issues with slow service, surcharges, and high prices, others enjoyed the flavorful food and lively atmosphere. Complaints ranged from pushy waitstaff to uncomfortable dining experiences due to flies and neglectful service. However, many diners praised the delicious food, particularly the buckets, and the attentive service from friendly staff like Stina. The valet parking was convenient for some, while others found it to be an annoyance. Live music added to the ambiance for some guests, making celebrations even more special. Overall, RBL seems to have its ups and downs, making it worth a visit for those willing to take the chance.
That was great. elissa was our waitress. not only was she a great waitress, she was so tight, she made us laugh and made the evening very funny. in the did her entire staff was very nice. we were there for the birthday of my sons.
My man and I decided to eat in rockin baja lobster in the old town. the food and the experience were fantastic. I had the limette zilantro margarita, which was delicious. we decided to get the bucket with four lobsters and twelve garnels with mais, borons, zilantroreis and tortillas. that was great.
It was our Honeymoon, and we decided to try this place as a suggestion from one of our guest. The atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience was amazing. So glad we decided to come.
One of my fav places to go, food is usually really delish but this time the crab legs we ordered were so old and overdone that even the shell was crumbling when trying to crack open. Had to send back and get some fresh ones.
We usually enjoy our experience at RBL. Tonight the service was a bit slow (drinks, taking order, etc). I also think that it is ridiculous that they both raised the prices AND added a surcharge to help with rising costs . Another weird thing was that on top of the mediocre service and the surcharge, the tip screen prompts you to tip at the highest end. All in all, dinner for our family of six (two kids, minimal alcohol) was over 250 dollars. That would be absolutely fine if the experience was better. We probably won 't return. There are many places where we could go that have higher standards for service at that price point.
