I always have to cover you. With several locations in Bay Area. Serving American street classics since 1999, plus beautiful beer and wine. I just stopped at the SF Ferry Building to bite this time. Chili cheese fries and a Pliny The Elder. Life is good!
The long line (which moves quickly) shows the quality. Everything is always great. Wine and design beer is the selection remarkable good. Patients, helpful staff are friendly and friendly.
Nice place. Casual dining in the Ferry Building along the Embarcadero the outlet looks out on the road in front and you can watch the people and the tramcars go past. They have a good selection of daily specials, sandwiches, wines and more. Overall its good value for money especially given the location. The service was a little slow though!
Anyone who thinks prices are high here and the burgers are great here doesn't know San Francisco. The Wisconsin Burger was incredible:. all locally sourced ingredients, 100% Niman Ranch beef, at least 20% fat, extremely flavorful, perfect real crispybacon (4 or 5 strips), sharp aged Cheddar cheese. Worth every penny. Chicken tenders and fries exceptional. About 15 partiesahead of me on a busy Sunday at Noon, extremely well organized and fast moving line. Large indoor and outdoor seating area, perfect for larges groups of 8 to 12. California wines by the glass, lus one French Rosé and a Washington Cabernet. 9+ draftbeers on tap. Excellent fast bussing and cleaning of tables. Large open California kitchen, with a 30+ seat counter lookinginto it through clear glass. Anyone who thinks the food is exotic doesn't know SF Bay Area California cuisine. The FerryBuilding is iconic. Walking through it at least is a must. Beautiful views of the Embarcadero and City skyline. Giantprojection TV with Sunday football playing at the far end, but with no sound, so it was totally unobtrusive.
