They were swamped with many guests, so it took... read more I went with my friends to try their Restaurant Week Menu. The food was fantastic, but the service was a bit slow. They were swamped with many guests, so it took a while to get our first cocktail. Despite that, we plan to return because the food was so delicious. Hopefully, the service will be improved next time.

Additionally, w... read more To make matters worse, one person at our table happens to be a wine distributor for FOLC, and the server’s rude demeanor was quite embarrassing. Additionally, we were previously informed that there was no corkage fee, yet when the bill arrived, we were charged for three corkage fees. We only brought two bottles, one of which we purchased based on the server's suggestion that it would pair well with the burger. We paid for that bottle plus the corkage fee, despite the confusion. Three of us at the table work in the service industry—one as a wine distributor and the others as restaurateurs. I doubt any of us will return. Just because you’ve been featured in a magazine doesn't give you the right to treat your patrons disrespectfully, especially those who regularly recommend you to others. FOLC is now completely off my list. That said, aside from the poor service, the burger was excellent and certainly lived up to its Texas Monthly feature.
