I selected Soleluna Cafe to meet with friends in San Diego for one day. We loved the open air feel a lot. The food we ordered was the Alfredo with Chicken and The eggplant parmesan. What Jeremy Roberts doesn't like about Cafe Sole Luna:
The dinner was okay. The menu they gave us clearly said Passport Card on it, but the waiter said they don’t acceptable it. They were paper menus that should have been reprinted in that case. This restaurant is one of the only Italian restaurants that doesn’t have Cesar salad on the menu. The rest of the food was fine, but nothing special. With so many other great restaurants around, I doubt I will go back. View all feedback.
Very basic seating, food small portion, not attentive to entree modification request
Food for restaurant week was not very good. Careless pasta, probably frozen and not cooked enough. Creme brûlée had no attempt at brulee.
Quiet place, easy access, wide variety of food options and drinks.
Definitely a first date spot, it was simply PERFEECTO: wone minor flaw, the waiter, his energy was so wrong for hospitality. He was slightly short tempered, brothersome and not very inviting. But besides that, the cafe is a thumbs up
Nice, quiet little Italien Cafe. The food was delicious, not fancy but very good! Would recommend to anyone in the area near the historic El Cortez
